In my apartment with Bailey, the poor sleepy thing. We've been all over town today, driving with the windows down and the radio up. Apparently, she really likes 'Werewolves of London,' which is just fine by me. But on to the meat of things. I've been really scatterbrained of late and I figure the collective power of my friend's list will be much better than my addled brain. Cookies to whoever can supply me with the answers I need. And believe me, I make some tasty cookies.
1. There was a website I visited awhile back that where you could compare two google searches to see which ones were more popular. They'd have top ten's and such. Things like Good vs. Evil and Robots vs. Monkeys, etc. I can't find it. Help?
2. As the majority of my f/list is from the south, the odds are you spent some time watching the Beverly Hillbillies. I need to know what color the bloodhound, Duke, was. Some people tell me black and tan, some say red. The only photograph I can find shows him from the front and it's impossible to tell from that. I've even gone so far as to TiVo a few episodes in hopes of catching him, all to no avail. If it helps any, the dog in question is actually named 'Stretch' and he originally appeared on the Tennessee Ernie Ford Show as 'Old Ring.' I know this sounds inane, but it's important. My father fell in love with 'Old Ring' and now we're getting him a bloodhound and need to know which color to buy.

Just got home from watching Revolutions. It seemed like a good idea at the time...I've gotten attached to sneaking movies before they come out. Man, I just wish I'd stayed in bed (which is where I was until I got the call to come see it). Save your money. If you just have to see it, period, then please just wait for the DVD release. Yes. It sucked that much. Sorry to burst your bubble.
I thought afterwards I could splurge to make the night just slightly worth it and get some Krystal, but they were out of chili, and really...what's splurging if you can't have chili? Bed would have been so much better. Bed it is.

HA! I knew you would trick me, starflare, but I've tricked you back, because I wanted that sock. janebaby, I always knew you had a hidden agenda. I see our next door neighbor has you in cahoots now. Did you take his sacriligeous pumpkin for your evil rites? And Max, if I'm going to go all the way to China, the least you could do is give me some candy...I thought you were all Communist now...hmph.
Poor trick-or-treaters who come by my house ain't gone get pooh, because I have an agenda. :) Must finish up costume (and I'm actually not going to be a Succubus....I'm just trying to throw you off...but, wait. I just screwed that up.) and run final errands of the day and then...Party! Kenny and Lyerly have invited me to join them for the evening. Someone they know is throwing a party with a bunch of English grad students who all happen to be intelligent and witty dorks, so the nite holds much promise. Literary wit + alcohol + costumes + videogames + candy = Super-Yar.
Is that the smell of dinner being made for me? Why yes. Yes it is. Bless the boy. |
